Shawn represents businesses and individuals in the areas of patent litigation, business litigation, and patent prosecution. He has experience in cases involving several different technologies including storage area networks, software, medical devices, contact lenses, security camera systems, radio frequency identification systems, landscape blocks, air filters, mouthguards, automobile user interfaces, solvents, and genetics. 

 

With graduate training and teaching experience in science, Shawn is able to appreciate new technology and then explain it to others. He also speaks at patent law seminars and posts comments on developments in patent law and discusses recent cases on his blog.
